ABOUT ME
Hey there!
My name is Sanya Anwar. I'm a freelance comic creator and illustrator based out of Toronto, Canada.
As a freelancer, I take on a wide variety of projects: from concept sketches to full fledged comic books and illustrations. I begin each project with a sketch to be approved by the client, before moving on to pencils, traditional inks and finally, full color. Check out my illustrations or covers for some examples.
I'm also a DC Comics trained writer; I love bringing stories to life! My own self published comic, "1001" is available to read online for free.

What is a "commission"? When you meet an artist at a convention, they will often take on requests for live art, right there at the show! You can take home a custom artwork and a great memory of your favorite creator. Interested? Contact me to save your spot, or try to get on my commission list early at a comic convention or show!
